Work brought me and my wife to the Bay Area from the east
coast in the late'90s. We drove out with our then six-year old
German Shepherd, Heidi, who traveled like a queen in the back
seat of a rented Cadillac DeVille.
Shortly after arriving I began volunteering for Give a Dog a Bone, an
environmental enrichment program for long-term shelter dogs at the San
Francisco Animal Shelter. It's from GADAB that I've met some of
the most amazing and resilient animals in my life and where I
rekindled my passion for photography and made it my full-time job. A portion of all my profits
goes to GADAB and photos of dogs from the program can be
viewed and purchased from this gallery.
I specialize in casual portraits--photos capturing the unique traits
that endear our pets and our loved ones to us. I offer a variety of session packages and pricing for both pets, people and events depending on your needs and will
gladly customize one just for you.
I also frequent many of San Francisco's dog parks with my new dog, Bizzy. You may run into us at Fort Funston, Walter Haas, Stern Grove, St Mary's Recreation Center and others. I'll be the one with the camera, Bizzy will be the one with the ball or frisbee.
