About Me

When I first became a professional photographer I never thought I’d shoot weddings. That changed in 2008 when same-sex weddings were legalized in San Francisco from July to November  and I had the pleasure of photographing a number of ceremonies over those all-too-brief 5 months.

During that time I realized I really enjoyed photographing couples, their families and friends on their special day and decided to keep doing it as one of my ongoing services. Since then I’ve been there with my camera for scores of couples–both same sex and straight–in locations ranging from redwood groves to churches to San Francisco’s magnificent City Hall, where my wife and I were ourselves married in 2002.

Weddings are intensely personal events with many special, unique moments. My job is to be there for those moments in a non-intrusive way so you can always remember them. I’ll work with you before and after the ceremony to get everything right so you and anyone else who’s there don’t have to worry about it.
